I tried it last about a year or two ago. I didn't manage to get it working. It's
still very rough and needs a lot more work.

I remember bootstrapping the GNU/HURD circa 1998 for grins. It was a real PITA, though.
It may be worth trying to run as a VM these days just to play with.
