(!) My aunt Valerie Doodson worked there more or less her whole
career. She got an MBE for her labours, a few years ago. She married
Thomas Doodson, who I have just discovered was the son of the director
of the Proudman.
Yes she was there when I worked there. I must say I can't remember her,
but I was seldom let out of the Computer Suit. I am sure I used to have
a picture of her operating the Tidal Prediction Machine, but I can't
