Yeah, just like you and me and everyone else when we were 14.
People grown to like history.
Well, I knew plenty of people when I was that age who were interested in
history; they still had to be engaged in the first place, of course - but
once they were, what they'd seen tended to stick with them and often
prompted them to seek out similar things or more information.
I suppose it's that which seems to have been eroded over time; today people
will see something that they think is cool for all of five minutes, before
moving on to something else.
