It is not amazing that it happens, but it would be
truly amazing if it did
not. Knowledgeable Ebay (and other such auctions) put what they consider to
be keywords in the description that will attract those people using the
search engine. Just common sense.
Yes, simply because very few people actually browse categories anymore
because of the huge increase of new items. Searches are just about
essential.
