No luck on the keys I'm sure... the front keyswitch is in 'normal' mode,
and the back one is unlocked. About the keyboard: I have _no_ idea what
keyboard went with it, is there anything i need to look for in a keyboard
for it? I have a pair of 3button IBM PS/2 style mice laying around, will
those work? I'm definately gonna go back tomorrow to get it.
Thanks for the info.

Over at Purdue Salvage, they have an RS/6000

Grab it, if you've got the room at all. The 560 is a decent machine,
and the 590 is a great one. If you don't want it, I'm sure Sridhar
will. ;)
Seriously, it's a good box. My 560 is surprisingly fast, with 320M
of memory and a fair graphics adapter. I/O is decent, memory is
reasonably fast for the era. They have HUGE personality. (It's a
curiously masculine machine. I dunno why) Also very well supported on
IBM's site. Operator/owner manuals, device references and problem
determination guides are all online.
Get the keys. More importantly, get the *keyboard*. Not any old PS/2
keyboard will work. Same for mouse, although you have more options
there.
You've been scoring hot this month....
