My 2 favorite fora allow you to subscribe to
interesting threads, and
auto-subscribe you to a thread in which you've posted. This lets me see
when something's posted that I probalby want to read, without telling me
every time a post is made to the forum in general.
Although some of them only do this for the *first* new thing posted in
that thread, which is considerably less helpful.
