Hey all --
Finally snagged a copy of the elusive MS-DOS 2.0 for the GRiD Compass with
an 1101 I got last week. Imaged it using ImageDisk; you can grab it at:

I've verified that the image boots properly on my 1129.
Awesome - I've had an 1101 for about as long as I've been collecting
but have never loaded anything onto or off of it. I picked up a GRiD
GPIB drive (I think it was not the 1129 but it was definitely GRiD
branded and 5.25") from this list a couple years ago but have not
tested it. Now I have some images to write out and test. I assume
they are 360K?
I'd like to back up the software on my 1101, too, before reformatting
it with their DOS. It was loaded with what looked like an assembly
line QA utility from an auto plant. I like to use Fastlynx for this
task but IIRC (and it's been a while,) it has neither a standard
serial port nor parallel port. Any ideas what the best way to back up
the volume would be? Maybe a simple DOS backup tool that could span
floppies?
Thanks for the posting the images, too.
