problems with USB drives, too. I am hoping to try to install OS/2 on
an old Thinkpad laptop of mine at some point soon, and as it's a
floppyless machine and OS/2 CDs are not bootable (AFAICT), I'm going
to have to try to use a USB CD for that. I am not very confident it
will work.
I use an oldish Dell laptop internal (ejectable) floppy drive that also
has a USB connector on it with my Sony Vaio. It can read everything i
have thrown at it, with the correct software of course..
