Odd that you should mention this ...
As they've reccently had snow in the southern U.S, where that's a noteable
and rare event, youngsters interviewed DO refer to the thing as a "snow"
sled, apparently because snow is such a rarity.
HA... And they are *just* learning about the phenomenon known as "black ice".
