Is there an easier way to decide whether it is safe to use in the radiator
of your car?
Let a cat or dog lap it up. If they seem to enjoy it and then die
painfully from kideny failure, it prabably was ethylene glycol
antifreeze, and thus OK for your engine coolant.
More seriously, anitfreeze _is_ deadly to many animals, and as it tastes
sweet they do lap it up. I am always very careful when I work on the car
cooling system to be sure there's no spilt coolant left around. I do not
want to poison any animal, even accidentally.
