Copper, heavy metals, steels chassis, yes there's plenty to claim, I
was just poking a bit of fun :)
I got that ;-), but it's still a valid consideration.
It seems very sad. I keep my most precious vintage machines in the
house with me these days, or in a warm, locked alarmed self storage
unit near where I work. With luck they will be safe in those places.
Like to run them, not store them. My latest acquisition is a
barely marginally topical Dell Poweredge 4400 from 1999. It will save on
running the heater this winter, though.
