I just [finally] found the article on the JDR POST (Power On Self Test)
card. The article is August 1993 "Electronics Now".
It has the circuit board layout, source code for the two GALs, etc.
Apparently, JDR realized that they could sell a LOT more of their POST
cards by making them available as a kit (at all levels), and then peddling
the parts, such as premade circuit board, and preprogrammed GALs.
Does anybody still use GALs? (Generic Array Logic)
I have two xerox copies of the article sitting in front of me.
Who wants one?
