It's used, and to be recognised without any doubt!
In Dr. Strangelove, a computer room of some sort is shown, along with a
teletype. I'm not sure if any of this is recognizable. Since it was made
in the '60s, they were probably low-end machines, because mainframes would
take more space than available there.
