Indeed...
For example, to this day I still don't have a Hercules mono card or
8-bit ISA SCSI card with a boot ROM, and I've got at least 200 pounds of
loose parts. And I've only got one 5153 CGA monitor to my name while
others claim they have them stacked in a corner (!).
I suspect I'm unique in that I have 3 times as many classic PERQs (or if
you like, twice as many HP9100Bs) as Apple //e machines. And I've never
even seen an Apple IIGS
