I've got some Nixies gathering dust - I wanted to use them for something that
wasn't a clock, but this neon one is sufficiently oddball that I'm very
tempted...
Carrying this idea of old logic families to its next stage, I wonder
if it would still be possible to get some "hard" ferrite toroids to
implement a digital clock design in core logic? I'm not up to snuff
on what's available in the small-quantity market.
