Well, yeah. ?I did just that. ?I used Debian instead. ?It would have
been convenient if they ran on OSX, I could run one less computer.. save
power, that sort of thing.
Depending upon what Mac you have, it's perfectly possible to
dual-boot. For instance, my Mac Mini G4 triple-boots OS X 10.4, 10.5
and MorphOS - and Ubuntu on a LiveCD.
However, I think it *should* work
I got my dad (who is 80) to buy a Mac, thinking that he could use it. ?No
luck. (;
