Definitely seems that way from here, too. Although I will admit my best 'tube
audio' gear is a Dynaco preamp and a Harmon-Kardon integrated amp that I got from
thrift shops. But that's a popular channel for my classic computer items as well.
Either category of equipment is extremely expensive through 'retail' channels, but
'retail' is for people like Paul Allen, and for those who make their money bilking
people with too much disposable income that way.
