I have to say
that you were very much 'thrown in the deep end' by having
an
H7140 PSU as one of your first repairs. I'd
not wish that on anybody :-)
Despite the frustrations it has actually been quite an enjoyable experience
I am glad :-)
so far, I am just hoping the last little repair will
really be the last, I
I wil lget easier. The first few reparis are always the hardest, after a
bit you get to know what to look for, what tests to do, etc.
This won;t be your last ever repari, I can assure you -), at least not if
you stick with classic computers. But I find fault tracing to be fun.
It's a puzzle. You have to gather clues (using the 'scope, logic
analyser, etc) and think about what they mean. Probabyl about as sueful
as solving other sorts of puzzles...
