A pint of beer in London is about
?3-?3.50; in Norway or Sweden, ?6-?7. There are cheaper countries than
here - a pint in the Czech Republic would be about 30-40p - but also
ones where everything is twice as expensive.
When "A pint is a pound, the world around" ceases to be true, the world
economies are in big trouble.
