That doesn't surprise me at all.
We had a 4331 at Software Results in the 1980s, sharing the room with
a couple of VAX-11/750s and some PDP-11s, all speaking HASP, 3780, and
some SNA (through COMBOARDs on the DEC side). ISTR it wasn't too hard
of a machine to keep going, and not really more of a footprint than an
11/780.
