I have to point
out that I have an Eiconix Kodak built scanner available
to anyone who wants to salvage it that will do 3' x 4' or so.
It has what I recall was an IEEE 488 port on it, but I've never found
any documentation since acquiring it, and have not had time to do
anything with it.
It is an opaque document scanner, with two 4' fluorescent tubes for
illumination and a Nikon 35mm lens on a camera to do the scanning.
I may have to downsize my storage and this would have to be a candidate
to go.
