More then 10 years ago I saved two Amdahl CPU modules.
See:

and:

They must be from the Amdahl 58xx series.
Anyone any idea from which exact Amdahl models these modules came from ?
I have a board from the CPU stack of an Amdahl 5870 which I looked after
briefly in the early 1990's. It had been upgraded from a 5860 by the
additon of an attached processor. Mine doesn't have any plumbing or copper
sheeting and looks like the boards depicted about half way down this page:

I don't know for sure but I suspect other members of the 58xx series were
similarly constructed. If your units are complete CPUs, they seem to be much
more compact units with more agressive cooling than any of the 58xx series
that I am familiar with.
