Hi Doug,
12 V on the A 13 line. Ouch!!
I may have a RAM pack - I will have a look on the
weekend.
If I have one - I will happily dump a ROM for you.
Thanks very much. When you say RAM PACK do you mean the BASIC ROM PAC?
I've got the images for those thanks. I just have to figure out how to burn
EPROMS and jumper things to fit. All new territory for me.
Terry

Awesome!
I have an Exidy Sorcerer - When it was given to me, it was very dead.
It didn't take much fault finding to identify the +12Volts sitting on the
A13 line (from memory). From there, the cause was identified - somebody
had
bent the cartridge connector pins to make better contact - that they
did -
with the pins on the opposite edge of the connector. It worked a treat
while a cart was installed - as soon as it was powered up without a
cart....
POP!
Every component on the A13 line had to be replaced - the hardest to get
was
the line driver on the 50 pin interface connector.
Be careful not to tension the ROM pack lines......
But - the good side of the story is that the system works a treat - I
love
it!

I've also added the model to my collections site:

The only thing to do now is to replace or repair the BASIC ROM-PAC
