A pair of hot-tweezers is just about the only way to lift off the old caps
without damaging anything.
I recapped my SE/30 mostly with chip capacitors, but did resort to
radial-lead parts in several tight spots where I didn't want to use the
hot-air tool for fear of melting adjacent components.
