In the newsgroups, N is between 1 and 2 days. Sure it draws it out, but
this is the Internet. We can get away with that.

I'm morally flawed for finding the auction at the last minute?
Maybe the only reason I saw the auction was because it was at
the top of the search results because it had five minutes to go.
I think the way some newsgroup auctions work, the sellers only allow
previous bidders to participate in the "going" phase. But I've also seen
the bidding stay open to all until it's "gone".
