I've
suspected the power supplies in my non-functional Teraks, too.
Well, isn't the answer just what we always do?
Replace the caps and try again?
Err, no. I prefer to make masurements, work out what is wrong and _then_
replace components.
The problem might not be PSU-related at all. A check with a voltmeter (or
prefereably a 'scope to check for ripple) will settle that, though. And
if it is a PSU problem, it needn't be capacitor-related.
Of course I've replaced capacitors in classic computers, but they don't
seem to fail as often as some people like to believe.
