 Yes, you could -- but don't use ordinary PS/2 ready-made cables as they
 only have 4 or 5 pins connected, and the SGI systems use all six.
  
 
I've not found standard PS/2 cables that work (at least not in stores).
The stardard stock PS/2 cable have one female and one male connector,
while the SGI needs two male connectors.  I've ordered the cables
 from 
pccables.com, they have a cable that works and its
less than 
$3 if I remember correctly.
