The way several of my HP racks are configured, I'm right at the 15amp limit
for the PDU in the rack (and in one particular rack, that's without any hard
drives!).
The lowboy formica topped rack you speak of is perfect to put a disc drive
in, and then you can just wheel that from rack to rack to hook up a drive -
either giving a drive to a system that doesn't usually have one, or giving a
drive to a system that has a different type of drive. Yeah... I'm actually
saying that I use this lowboy rack with a 7906 drive and 13037 controller in
it... just like an Iomega portable zip drive. How quaint :)
