This drive
is a double sided 3.5" HP-IB drive. It's exactly the same as
the 9122 EXCEPT that it does no t have a power supply. It was sold only
Logically it's the same - it responds to the same command set, but
electronically it's rather different. I have both units, and the main
logic board on the 9123 uses many fewer chips (my guess is that the
address decoding is less complete for one thing), it uses a more recent
disk controller chip, I think, etc.
