The prototype used a 6809 processor for control, and a
DSP section
using a
TRW multiplier chip, a lot of TTL, and some high-speed memory. I
donated
the last remaining prototype board to CHM a few years ago. Paul
Baran,
the inventor of packet switching and founder of Telebit,
authenticated it.
I remember your talking about that some time ago. That's
amazingly cool.
