I do somewhat miss the old days of the list, ~15 years ago, when OT
"discussion" almost always focused on either cars or guns, and rarely
anything else :-)
You forget clocks and watches (which while not really my area of interest,
were usually still interesting to read about). Some of the "lesson
learned" stories and techniques for working on such stuff can come in
handy for small electromechanical stuff too.
