Always made me
wonder why manufacturers didn't color-code (like resistors)
IC's. It'd certainly be a lot easier to see.

Ever wonder why almost all car batteries sold these days have cases that are
black? It's because the material is almost all recycled plastic, and that's
the easiest color to end up with...
Then why are many opto-isolators in white DIL pacakges, resistor networks
in blue or brown plastic DIL packages, etc?
