actually, you can connect to the drives and set their
IDs in software. you
don't need the plugs. you need to know what ID they are (0 without a plug)
and then plug them into the machine one at a time and set their IDs to whatever
you want, then you can plug them all into the same bus.
You don't even need to know the initial ID, as long as you
have one drive at a time. Scanning the bus will tell you
the ID.
