Have microcomputers really died off?
There is a lot of NEW projects for the 6502 and Z80 as well as the 8086.
Ben.
It's like the famous Data General ad that they (unfortunately) never ran...
"They Say IBM's Entry Into Minicomputers Will Legitimize The Market.
The Bastards Say, Welcome."
Well, IBMs entry into the micro market (with a machine they didn't
even design) "legitimized the industry".
But the strange thing is, no one cleaned up the defects in clone wars
and every one added their own features. I knew the hobby computer was
dead when Steve Ciarcia came up with his PC clone.
