correct cables are critical.

Hmmm, but this one has a SCSI2 (50pin) connector, while my P03 has
a
SCSI3 (SCSI68) connector on the back...
Did you add a SCSI50 to SCSI68 adapter or your P03 has a different
connector on the back?
I own a similar cable, but it has a VHDC connector, it's for a PS2 95,
but the termination it's the same... can't forget that ugly brick ;)
