...and others, such as the Siemens FDD-100
(single sided) will
output an "illegal medium" signal if double-sded floppies are
inserted.
Interesting. I think the single-sided drives I've dealt with just
never assert READY, because they don't have a sensor at the index
position of a double-sided medium.
