It was quite expensive, as you might imagine,
approximately $7k. This was a blanket wrap
shipment on a specialty carrier with a two-man
crew on each end to load and unload, using a
crane van that can load from ground level without
a dock. A standard van would have run just over
$6k from the same company. Per pound,
a full truckload shipment is *much* cheaper than
shipping a few racks at a time, and guarantees
that your shipment stays on the truck and is not
offloaded anywhere in transit.
