Not true--it's basically a pair of Shugart SA-801 single-sided drives with
power supply in a box with a DC-37 male plug. The conductors are easy to
rearrange to fit many PC external drive connectors of the same flavor. The downside is, of course, that they're
single-sided. But that may not
matter to many people.
My Xerox 820-II has double-sided drives, FWIW.
