I've just
swapped out the cap with a cheapo 85C 1uF and the PSU is working
again. Now I need to find some way of repairing the casing. Two of the
screw-posts seem to be OK, but the other two have disintegrated. Only one of
the two remaining screw-posts seems to work - the screw keeps slipping out of
the other.
So on the one hand I've got a working Acorn A4 power supply. On the other
hand, the casing is knackered :-/
