The County Recorder's office in Alameda County (home county of Oakland
and Berkeley, CA) has all up to date Windows machines for doing look-ups
and such. The last time I came through to register stuff was about 5
years ago and they had those clunky IBM terminals.
I'd take a 3278 over a PC any day.
