Note: I was a little taken aback by the phrase "suspended encryption" in
that article. Luckily, I was able to search the actual book on Amazon, and
the term the author uses is "suspended _inscription_". That makes a whole
lot more sense.
(I'm still grumbling about "character strokes" though.)
