The SBC6120
comes to mind. Considering the number of units sold
and the
level of commercialization of the whole deal, I'm not sure I'd
consider
it "hobbyist clan".
With the short supply of 6120 chips, don't grumble about what you get. I'd think even a small CPLD would do a better
job.
That's what I'd have done on that board.
