I'm prepared to be proved wrong, but if a 7"
cordless saw can cut a
shift's worth of framing lumber on a single charge, I'll seriously
consider buying one.
Who expects any of those tools to work all day on a single charge?
Go to any construction site, and you will find a bank of chargers for
all the tools. Whether it is once a day or twenty times a day, the
guys will simply walk over and swap out the exhausted batteries.
Yes, there are still applications for corded tools on the site (big
ass hammer drills, serious saws, conduit benders, etc..), but these
days 95 percent of the hand work can be done nicely with cordless
tools.
