Tek is pretty good on getting stuff for their scopes; I'd try there
first. And there are several dealers on the net that deal in used Tek
gear as well.
Tektronix hasn't been very good about keeping parts and manuals in the
last 3-5 years. They no longer have manuals and parts for most of their
older scopes. I made the mistake of not ordering all the manuals for my
tube based scopes before they got rid of all their microfiche. They even
sold off all the parts and manuals for a particular scope I have to GTE.
GTE would not sell me the parts I need, and had the nerve to suggest I
scrap the scope. I'd have to look at the unit to remember the model
number, but it's a 60MHz scope Tektronix made in the mid to late 80s. Even
though I really like older Tektronix scopes, I'd have to really think hard
about buying any new gear from them because of their recent change to not
support *any* older gear.
