Not quite yet, but close. I recently repaired an automatic coffee
maker--the main PCB had a bunch of cold-solder joints. Apparently,
the Chinese still have a few things to learn about lead-free solder.
But on high-tech gear, yes, you're right--attempting to repair most
failures in them is frustrating and a waste of time.
