if you want the ability to repair it, why aren't you simply asking how to build a
desktop??? Yes go w/AMD 1001%. All my notebooks have them nowadays.
Get an ASUS mobo and take it from there. I have a brand new tower case and p/s if
you're interested. High quality also (in New Jersey).
