I still do, sometimes at least. The output has gotten faster
(and I've probably gotten slower). So it's a lot harder to
control how many lines I let scroll than it was 20 years ago.
And not only faster, but less responsive. It takes a while after
you press ^S for the output to stop. I don't know if the cause is
network design, the design of UNIX, or both.
