Unfortunately, that paper can slightly confuse you. They talk about
68000-family, and if you read on, you'll find that the "current" models
use the 68020... Also Sequioa, who also used two 68000's operating
in lockstep,
described in P.A. Bernstein's paper
Just after I hit send, I remembered something a friend told me about a
Sequioa installed in Moscow's first (?) credit card processing facility:
"it was constantly malfunctioning, but it was fault tolerant"
