I ordered two from Mouser this week.
Dunno--after all, you're simply moving your purchasing closer to the
point of production when you order from China. So that makes sense to
cut out the middleman.
Shipping just two capacitors from Texas to Seattle seems silly enough. Shipping them from
China seems really silly to me.
Distribution (middlemen) is how a lot of the people earn a living.
Unfortunately the lack of actual electronics parts places in town mean that shopping
online is the only option. We used to have multiple options in the area, they slowly
disappeared, including Rat Shack. Fry?s is the only option that I?m aware of left.
On an interesting note, I read an article recently, that popped up in my financial news.
Delivery services have reached the breaking point in the cities, due to the amount of
deliveries, and the lack of parking.
