You're right. People believe lots of interesting, and strange stuff.
But maybe I'm missing something here, so remind me again, just how
does
one get a Von Neumann architecture machine to *COMPUTE* something
without that machine invoking any instruction/opcode/microcode at all?
You're right, I guess I'll go scrap my house full of PDP-8s,
PDP-11s, and DECsystem-2020 since they can all be completely replaced
by emulators.
